Remote Personal Assistant to Creative Director


Storyteller Studios + creates original poetry, literature, online content, workshop, events, and entertainment that focuses on African-American history, education, and contribution. We are currently seeking a phenomenal and creative Personal Assistant to the Creative Director. The ideal candidate will have a crazy drive and willingness to take on various tasks and assignments with enthusiasm, innovation, and savvy. We are looking for a teachable personal assistant who can learn the business and help to improve the Creative Director’s effectiveness, efficiency, and success.

  • Assist Creative Director with calendar management, scheduling, and updates

  • Respond to emails, inquiries, and various communication 

  • Take notes, minutes at meetings, and update Trello and create necessary documents

  • Research and copyright various materials used for workshops, books, content, and other products as created

  • Participate in marketing/promotion think-tanks

  • Communicate with volunteers and contract workers

  • Provide weekly updates on the progress of projects

  • Assist with social media upkeep and advancement


HOURS: 8-10 hours per week (remote)

Virtual Poetry Workshop Facilitator



Storyteller Studios Plus is an online resource for poetry, original literature, and digital content that focuses on African-American culture and heritage. We are currently seeking a creative self-starter to facilitate poetry workshops (virtual) to youth participants from various programs in PA and NJ. Poetry workshop facilitators follow a brand curriculum and also have the freedom to weave their personal style into the instruction. Workshops are conducted online (Zoom) and require the facilitator to have access to a laptop or computer, internet, a quiet space to conduct sessions, and a pleasant attitude. Workshop sessions run 45-min and are booked on Monday- Friday between 9am and 3pm. This is currently a part-time position (about 5-10 hours per week).

  • Contribute ideas and suggestions in monthly staff meetings; increase participation, improve relationships, and events



  • $25/session



Flexible Availability Monday-Friday between 9am-3pm. Once workshops are booked, exact working hours are known.
